FREE MATHS LESSONS

At UnderSTEMed, we believe that representation in STEM begins with early access to quality learning. Many students lose confidence in science simply because they lack the right support. Our free tutoring program for Primary 1 to Grade 12 helps rebuild that confidence through curiosity-driven, inclusive lessons that spark a lasting interest in STEM.

Students and parents can explore our syllabus to choose the level that best fits their grade or learning needs before enrolling.

LEVEL 1

Foundational Numeracy (Grades 1–3)

• Counting, place value, and number patterns

• Basic addition, subtraction, and introduction to multiplication/division

• Shapes, measurement, and time

• Using money and solving real-life problems

• Reading and interpreting simple charts and pictographs

LEVEL 2

Core Skills Development (Grades 4–5)

• Multi-digit operations and problem solving

• Fractions, decimals, and percentages

• Perimeter, area, and symmetry

• Early ratio and proportion

• Working with data and simple graphs

LEVEL 3 

Application & Pre-Algebra (Grades 6–8)

• Integers, rational numbers, and order of operations

• Ratios, rates, and proportional reasoning

• Simplifying algebraic expressions and solving equations

• Geometry, coordinate graphs, and introductory Pythagoras’ theorem

• Basic trigonometry concepts and 2-D vectors

• Statistics, averages, and probability fundamentals

LEVEL 4

Advanced Math & Real-World Context (Grades 9–10)

Algebraic equations, functions, and graphs (linear, quadratic, exponential)

• Coordinate geometry of lines and circles

• Geometry, trigonometric ratios, and identities

• Vectors and their applications

• Statistics, probability, and data analysis

• Financial and modeling problems using algebra and functions

LEVEL 5

Pre-University STEM Readiness (Grades 11–12)

Advanced algebra, functions, and sequences

• Trigonometric equations and identities

• Calculus: limits, differentiation, and integration with applications

• Vectors in 2-D and 3-D and introduction to complex numbers

• Probability, data modeling, and regression

• Extended mathematical projects and exam-style problem solving
